Bartender
For our exclusive bar, we are looking for a dynamic Bartender passionate about mixology. The atmosphere is vibrant and the team is very close-knit, so we are looking for someone who can work well under pressure and can always stay focused on providing a unique experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality drinks according to house standards.
Manage the inventory of liquor and soft drinks and notify the manager of restocking needs.
Support with cleaning and maintaining the bar.
Be courteous and friendly to customers at all times.
Be proactive and offer suggestions and advice to customers regarding drinks and snacks.
Requirements
Previous experience working in a bar.
Broad knowledge of classic and contemporary mixology.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent customer service attitude.
A meticulous approach to measurements and portions.
Results orientation and desire to grow and develop in the position.

The candidate is expected to describe their previous experience in the field of bartending, how long they worked, where, and what skills they acquired in the process.
How would you prepare a classic drink like a Martini?
The candidate is expected to describe the steps needed to prepare a Martini without difficulty, be confident about quantities and proportions, and be able to answer any questions asked about it.
How would you handle a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment?
The candidate is expected to describe how they would handle stressful situations when there is a large volume of orders at the bar, and how they could stay organized while working.
Can you describe your knowledge of spirits and wines?
The candidate is expected to describe their knowledge of the different types of spirits and wines. They should be able to answer questions about flavors, regions of origin, production processes, and the combinations each drink can be used in.
Can you name some cocktail specialties you can make?
The candidate is expected to describe some specific cocktails they know how to make and be able to describe the ingredients, quantities, and any technique needed to prepare each one.
What is your opinion on alcohol responsibility and how would you ensure your customers are not over-served?
The candidate is expected to describe how they would handle situations in which a customer requests too many drinks and how to avoid serving someone who is already intoxicated. They should be able to describe how to maintain a safe and responsible environment at a bar.
Do you consider yourself a good communicator and why?
The candidate is expected to describe their communication skills and how they can be effective in an environment like that, whether interacting with customers or working as a team with other bartenders.
