Hospice Nurse
We are looking for a Hospice Nurse who will be responsible for providing palliative care and attention to patients in the terminal phase of their illness. The main objective of the position is to provide comprehensive, quality care to patients and their families during this difficult time.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
Monitor and control vital signs and symptoms to ensure patient comfort.
Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and family members.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
Document and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Participate in planning the patient's discharge or transfer.
Requirements
Degree in Nursing and current Nursing License.
Previous hospice experience is highly valued.
Up-to-date knowledge of palliative care.
Ability to work as a team and in difficult situations.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
