Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and assessments of patients of all ages.

  • Design and apply personalized treatment plans to treat people with injuries, neurological conditions, chronic illnesses, disabilities, or mobility problems.

  • Perform therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, such as massages, joint techniques, or muscle manipulations, to help patients regain muscle strength, mobility, and reduce pain.

  • Teach exercises and prevention and self-care techniques to patients and caregivers, to help prevent future injuries.

Requirements

  • Degree in physical therapy.

  • Registered with the Physical Therapists Board.

  • Previous experience.

  • Ability to plan and carry out personalized physical therapy treatments.

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other medical professionals.

  • Emotional strength and ability to work with people in vulnerable situations.

  • Passion for the work and dedication to patient well-being.
