Physical Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant for our team. The selected candidate will collaborate in caring for patients with muscular, neurological, and orthopedic injuries in order to evaluate, design, and execute recovery plans. The person filling this position will play a key role in the process of improving patients' bodily functions and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing clinical evaluations and assessments of patients.

  • Participate in developing personalized treatment plans for each patient.

  • Execute physical therapy techniques and procedures according to each patient's needs.

  • Support during rehabilitation therapies and therapeutic massages.

  • Keep a constant record of patients' progress and report it to the physical therapist.

  • Collect and maintain patient information records, including medical history and current conditions.

  • Collaborate in carrying out health promotion and injury prevention programs.

Requirements

  • University degree in Physical Therapy.

  • At least 2 years of experience in the area.

  • Knowledge of different techniques and treatments applied in physical therapy.

  • Ability to work as a team and under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge for record and data management.

  • Availability to work rotating shifts if necessary.
