Software Security Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Define and carry out software security strategies, working closely with the development team.

  • Conduct investigations in the event of security incidents and take necessary measures to remediate them.

  • Stay up to date on trends and new technologies in information security.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in software security, enriched by specialization in application programming.

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, PHP, among others.

  • Experience in testing and vulnerability analysis on web and mobile applications.

  • Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, etc.

  • Ability to work as a team and in collaboration with other areas of the organization.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present detailed reports.

  • Preferably university studies in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
