Sound Engineer
We are looking for a Sound Engineer for our company. You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about music and technology. We are looking for someone with solid experience in the sound industry, who is focused on the quality of the final product and able to offer effective solutions to problems.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate audio equipment during the company's presentations and events.
Control audio during recordings and mixes to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform tests and adjustments on audio equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work as a team with the rest of the production staff to ensure the success of the company's events.
Requirements
Previous experience in the sound industry or similar jobs of at least 3 years.
Advanced knowledge of audio equipment and software, as well as sound recording and mixing techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
Passion for sound and music, with a good attitude and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Availability to work overtime and night or weekend hours.

The candidate is expected to present their ability to adapt depending on the situation and use different techniques to achieve the desired objectives.
How do you set up and test the audio equipment before a presentation or live event to avoid failures during the event?
The candidate is expected to explain how they install and connect the equipment, run the sound check and verify levels, and how they anticipate and resolve problems such as feedback or signal failures while the event is underway.
How do you coordinate with other production team members, such as the director, producer, and other sound engineers?
The candidate is expected to describe how they communicate with others to achieve a successful production and how they reach solutions when there are differences of opinion.
What have you done to improve your sound engineering skills in the past year?
The candidate is expected to describe the activities they have done to improve their sound engineering skills, such as attending workshops, reading specialized books or articles, learning new software, etc.
