Systems Security Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Security Engineer who is passionate about IT security and interested in joining our highly qualified team. The person in this position will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems, guaranteeing the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform security risk analysis on our organization's computer systems.

  • Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to protect company information.

  • Configure and manage IT security systems and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and authentication systems.

  • Perform penetration testing on systems and applications to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.

  • Help educate company staff on proper IT security practices and effective implementation of security controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT security at financial institutions or government entities.

  • Knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and authentication systems.

  • Knowledge of ISO27001, COBIT, and ITIL.

  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
