Casting Director
We are looking for a Casting Director, who will be responsible for leading and overseeing the casting process for audiovisual productions. The selected candidate will be in charge of finding and selecting actors, actresses, and other talent to meet the needs of each project, working closely with the production team and ensuring high quality standards are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
Direct the casting process for all productions.
Identify and evaluate talent for each production, according to the profiles sought.
Coordinate and plan casting sessions and auditions, ensuring established deadlines are met.
Work closely with the production team to understand the project's needs and define the profiles of the characters to be portrayed.
Advise other team members, such as directors and screenwriters, on casting and actor selection matters.
Participate in negotiations with talent representatives and hiring agreements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Cinematography, or related field.
Previous experience in similar roles, leading casting processes for audiovisual productions.
Knowledge of casting techniques, talent evaluation, and selection.
Experience coordinating and planning casting sessions and auditions.
Analysis, interpretation, and adaptation skills to the specific needs of each project.
Leadership skills and ability to work as a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
