Editor-in-Chief
Our team is looking for an Editor-in-Chief who is passionate about writing, editing, and creativity. The selected person will lead a team of writers and work in collaboration with other departments to ensure the creation of high-quality content in the area of specialization.
Responsibilities
Direct and supervise the team of writers and editors.
Plan, organize, and coordinate the editorial calendar and the section's content.
Maintain a consistent style and ensure quality in the writing and editing of all content produced.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the content produced is relevant and has a strong online presence.
Develop strategies to increase traffic and audience interaction with the area's content and measure its impact.
Contribute to the development and growth of the department as a whole.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an online or print position in roles such as writer, editor, or editor-in-chief.
Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and motivate a team.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems.
Knowledge and understanding of the publishing industry as a whole.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Excellent communication ability in Spanish.
